We are finally seeing the arrival of summer and the horses are feeling the warmth on their backs which is a delight to see. We have seen the foals frolicking and the mares relaxing in the paddocks.
This summer we have been very fortunate with the success of our graduates. With the remarkably wet summer we have had, Hamish has been in flying form. His earnings now exceed £500k and has been a star for the Haggas stable. It was very exciting to see him run 2nd in the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Epsom.
Betty Clover took us all to Royal Ascot this year for Eve Johnson Houghton who bred and trains this talented filly. We can’t wait to see the continued success of our graduates.
Sales preparations with the yearlings is well under way with the sales commencing in just a couple of weeks. It always approaches so quickly but we are delighted with the yearlings we have this year and very much look forward to attending the sales.
